About
"Don't ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive and go do it. Because what the world needs is more people who have come alive." - Howard Thurman
Hi, I'm Tom — a group facilitator, coach, and community builder who connects and leads others through the power of meaningful conversations and movement.
I founded The Lost Art of Random Conversations to address what so many of us are feeling: loneliness, disconnection, and a longing for something real. Whether through immersive events, coaching, or a spontaneous questions in the grocery store line, my work is about helping us return to the kinds of conversations we all need more of — the ones that remind us we're not alone.
Over the past 11+ years, I've worked across the U.S. and Uganda with individuals, communities, and organizations to create more connection, collaboration, and better health.

Beyond the Work
In my free time, you can find me dancing, meditating, surfing, playing tennis, or doing improv. I'm fueled by good conversations, traveling to new places, and the occasional cookie.
